Cheryl H. Ryman
Cheryl Ann (Harmon) Ryman, 66, wife of William E. “Butch” Ryman, passed away on March 14, 2023 at the University of Virginia.
She was born on December 12, 1956 in Staunton, VA, a daughter of Austin Page Harmon and the late Kathleen Hope (Halterman) Harmon.
Cheryl enjoyed being a homemaker and loved her family dearly. She also loved animals, flowers, and decorating.
In addition to her husband, she is survived by her father, Austin Page Harmon; a daughter, Hope Nichole Meeks (Jonathan), and Weston Page Ryman; a special brother, Jeff Harmon (Elizabeth); her grandchildren, Caleb, Riley, and Isaac Meeks; and numerous nieces and nephews.
A funeral service will be conducted on Thursday March 16, 2023 at 1:30 p.m. in St. Johns United Methodist Church by the Revs. Chuck Cole and Ed Pruitt. The family will receive friends 30 min prior to the service in the church. Burial will follow in Thornrose Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St. Johns United Methodist Church, 1716 N. Augusta St. Staunton, VA 24401.
