He was born on February 21, 1992, in Harrisonburg.

He graduated from Spottswood High School in Penn Laird in 2010. Cody was a dedicated security guard at McKee Foods in Stuarts Draft.

Cody had a deep love for his family and friends, cherishing the time spent with them. He was a gun and knife enthusiast, finding fascination in their craftsmanship and history. In addition to this unique hobby, Cody found enjoyment in video games, sci-fi movies, and books. These mediums allowed him to explore new worlds and broaden his imagination.

Cody's loved ones are mourning the loss of a remarkable individual who touched their lives profoundly. He will be dearly missed by all those who knew him.
