Cynthia M. Breeden

Cynthia Marie Breeden, 56, passed away on Thursday, October 3, 2024, at her residence in Staunton.

She was born on June 16, 1968, in Staunton to Helen Breeden and the late, John Breeden.

Cynthia cherished the simple things in life such as fishing, which was one of her favorite pastimes. She also had a strong passion for watching football, often cheering on her favorite team with great enthusiasm.

Her love for animals was evident to all that knew her. They brought her immense joy and companionship throughout her life. She will be remembered for a life filled with nature, sports, and her beloved pets.

She is survived by her wife, Sonya Bartley Breeden; her mother, Helen Breeden; her son, Christopher (Angie) Breeden; her grandchildren, Madison and Chris Breeden; her brothers, Darrell (Nioka) Breeden and Olen (Alisa) Bennett; her sisters, Kimberly (David) Leary, Alice Morris, Debbie Bennett and Olena Haley; and numerous nieces and nephews.
