Donald L. Maybush
Donald Lee “Dick” Maybush, 84, husband of Mary Ann (Rankin) Maybush, of Staunton, died Thursday, January 28, 2021 at Augusta Health.
He was born April 29, 1936 in Staunton, a son of the late Frances Eleanor Maybush.
Prior to retiring, he was employed by Shenandoah Valley Electric Cooperative as a line foreman for 45 years.
Dick attended Good News Ministries. He enjoyed fishing, hunting, yard sales, and auctions.
In addition to his wife of 66 years, family include two sons, Donnie Maybush, Jr. and wife, Donna, and Brent Maybush; two brothers, Clinton Maybush and Philip Tazelaar; four grandchildren, Shane, Colton, Caleb, Ashley Austin, and her husband Nathan; three great grandchildren, Christian, Joel, and Ava; and a number of nieces and nephews.
A graveside service will be conducted at 2 p.m. Wednesday, February 3, 2021 in Augusta Memorial Park by the Rev. Wanda Myers. COVID-19 protocols will be observed.
