Donald F. Price

Donald Franklin Price, 82, widower of Judy LaVonne (Fix) Price, passed away on Saturday, December 3, 2022 at Augusta Health.

Mr. Price was born on August 31, 1940 in Parnassus to the late Guy Franklin and Margaret Pearl (Armstrong) Price.

He was a veteran of the U.S. Navy. Mr. Price retired as a certified technician in the automotive industry.

He is survived by four daughters, Terry Garland (Jeff) of Staunton, Tammy Patrick (Barry) of Nelson County, Cherri Hite (Luther) of Staunton, and Dionne Montgomery (Robert) of Stuarts Draft; five grandsons, Christopher Price (Danielle) of Staunton, Charles Price (Amy) of Fairfield, Neal Truslow (Theresa) of Nelson County, Jeremy Truslow of Nelson County, and Michael Montgomery (fiancée, Nicole Harris) a granddaughter, Emily Montgomery of Staunton; a step-granddaughter, Vanessa Tadlock (Chase) of North Carolina; five great-grandchildren, Serenity Truslow, Isabella Price, Dominic Truslow, Holly Price, and Sofia Truslow; special neighbors, Bernie and Mary Ellen Earhart, Shirley and Wayne Powell, and Mr. and Mrs. Lotts; his special dog, Bootsie; three sisters, Audrey Bradshaw, Edna Moats, and Frances Wampler.

In addition to his wife and parents, Mr. Price is preceded in death by two brothers Lawrence “Buzzy” A. Price and Charles Price and step-father, Virgil Varner.

A visitation for friends and family will be held from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM, Thursday, December 8, 2022.

A Celebration of Life will be conducted at 10:00 AM, Friday, December 9, 2022 in the Henry Funeral Home Chapel by Reverend Russell Heinrich. Burial will follow at Augusta Memorial Park.

Active pallbearers will be his grandchildren.
