Donnie M. Shiflett

Beloved Donnie Maxine (Milstead) Shiflett, 87, formerly of Greenville, and widow of Leo A. Shiflett Sr., passed away on November 29, 2021 at Harrisonburg Health & Rehabilitation Center.

Mrs. Shiflett was born on September 16, 1934 to the late Miles Rufus and Anna Mary (Michael) Milstead.

She is survived by her children, Johnny Shiflett, Sr. and his companion, Marie Bocanegra, of Buchannan, Edward and Patsy Shiflett of Greenville, Dianna Cale and her companion, David Shaver Sr. of Verona, Larry Shiflett of Harrisonburg, Gerald Shiflett of Broadway, and Shirley Shiflett of Craigsville; siblings: Joyce and John Balser, Bonnie and Buddy Buzzard, and Odell Milstead, 13 grandchildren, 37 great grandchildren, and 15 great great grandchildren.

In addition to her husband, she is preceded in death by her children, Ricky Shiflett, James Shiflett, Mary Hostetter, Leo Shiflett, Jr., Rholettie Chandler; her siblings Stanley Milstead, Jackie Rowe, and Madeline Reed; grandchildren, Ronnie Shiflett, Connie Shiflett, and James Shiflett Jr.

The family will receive friends on Thursday, December 2nd, 2021 from 6-8 P.M. at Henry Funeral Home.

A graveside service will be conducted on Friday, December 3rd, 2021 at 1:00 P.M. by Reverend Russell Heinrich at the Old Craigsville Cemetery.
