Doretta Lynne Wilkerson Hanger, 68, passed away on Wednesday. December 27, 2022 at Augusta Health in Fishersville.
Doretta was born on July 21, 1954 in Pittsylvania County, Virginia to the late Lee Roy and Geneva Elizabeth Burks Wilkerson.
She is survived by her brother, David Lee Wilkerson of Jellico, TN; a step-son, Dustin Fitzgerald and his wife, Kimberly; her friend, Lyle Fitzgerald and his special friend, Lisa Shiflett; and her good friend, Debbie VanHoozier and her husband, David.
In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by a brother, Andrew Taylor Wilkerson.
A memorial service will be held on Monday, January 2, 2022 at 2:00 PM at Henry Funeral Home.
