Ed “Jerry” Pugh, born May 15, 1940, went to be with his God and his wife Alice August 31. He is survived by Roy and Nancy Groah, Peggie and Gene Rosen, and Pat (Harold) Groah Snyder and Jimmy and Cynthia Hicks. His sons, Ron Chiapusio and Edward took care of him for the last years of his life along with caregivers Jonea, Drew and Leslie. He leaves numerous others he touched during his life, including neighbors of 41 years, Mary and Charlie Ramsey, his dear life-long friend Tommy (wife Jan) Gordon and Joan Betz. He was a loyal friend to everyone he met. After a 34-year career in the Power House at Dupont; working shift work, he could relate to anyone. He was a good husband, father and friend. A graveside service will be held at Mt. Carmel Presbyterian Church in Steeles Tavern on September 14 at noon. Memorial contributions can be made to Second Presbyterian Church of Waynesboro, P.O.
