Edward Lee Robbins, 76, passed away on Sunday, April 5, 2026, at his residence in Fishersville.

He was born on July 15, 1949, in Rocky Mount, North Carolina to the late Willard Speight and Mittie Bell Bridgers Robbins.

Lee was a graduate of North Carolina State University. He was a co-owner of Wyse Enterprises, a software and IT company. He was highly intelligent and respected in his field.

He was a loving husband, father, and papa, who cherished time spent with his family. Lee truly lived life to the fullest. He was an adventurous soul who held both a pilot’s license and a captain’s license, embracing the sky and the open water with equal passion. He loved deep sea and lake fishing, finding peace in those moments.

A skilled carpenter, Lee, had a gift for building and creating. Whether it was a project around the house or something entirely new, he was always working with his hands. Affectionately known as “The Weekend Warrior,” he was rarely still - always fixing, building, or improving something.

In his spare time, he enjoyed making things out of paracord by hand.

Lee also had a love for motorcycles and enjoyed the open road. He was an avid collector of watches and had a deep love for eagles. Above all, he had a great sense of humor and a way of making those around him laugh.

His strong and unwavering faith was the cornerstone of his life, guiding his path and influencing all that he did.

He is survived by his daughter, Kristina Ann Robbins; his grandchildren, Carter Lee and Morgan Bell Faye Gutshall; his brothers, Ronald Speight Robbins, Willard Ray Robbins, and George Clayton Robbins and his wife, Jana; his nephews, Rick Irving (Matt), Eric Robbins (Amanda), Travis Robbins (Karen), Matthew Robbins, and Robbie Hudspeth (Gretchen); his nieces, Lisa Hudspeth, Brittney Hudspeth, and Kathy Robbins; his special friend, Vanessa Coursey; and his faithful service dog, Marty.

In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his wife, Cheryl Lynn Irving Robbins; his son, Austin Lee Robbins; his sister, Doris Faye Robbins Hudspeth; and his sister-in-law, Geri Robbins.

At this time there are no services to announce.

Henry Funeral Home has been entrusted with the arrangements.
