With heavy hearts yet trust in God’s promises, we remember the life of our beloved, Fay Victoria Myrtle Coffman, 83, who passed away peacefully at her home in Augusta County on Monday, December 29, 2025.

She was born at home on May 27, 1942, in Lofton, to the late Jesse Iralie Myrtle and Lena Frances Anderson.

Fay was a devoted partner, loving mother, and a woman of great strength. She gave herself fully to her family, showing love through her actions, words, and unwavering care. Her presence brought peace, warmth, and laughter to our home. She also loved the outdoors and hiking the Blue Ridge trails. Fay worked as a stenographer/secretary for DuPont for fifteen years, retiring in 1976.

Fay was a devoted member of Legacy House of Prayer in Waynesboro.

She is survived by her husband, Richard Allen Coffman; her children, Rodera Ramey and her husband, Scott, Derek Coffman and his wife, Wendy, and Alison Steele; her grandchildren, Matt Ramey and his wife, Felicia, Kirsten Ramey, Michaela Swearingen and her husband, Zach, Gavin Coffman, Bjorn and Viola Steele; her great-grandchildren, Braylen and Leihlahni Ramey, and Jace Kinsinger; and her niece, Angelena Elmore.
