Fred Bower

Fred M. Bower, 88, of Fishersville, Virginia, went to heaven to be with his beloved wife, Mary Bower, on Saturday, July 19, 2025.

Born on April 18, 1937 in Augusta County, he was the son of the late Bernard and Isabell Bower.

Mr. Bower was employed by various corporations until retiring in 2002. He was a proud member of Barren Ridge Church.

Surviving their dad, pawpaw, father-in-law, brother and brother-in-law, are his two sons, Douglas M. Bower of Swoope, and Troy A. Bower and his wife, Tammy of Williamsburg; his grandson, Tadd A. Bower and his wife, Madison of Virginia Beach; his brother, Ted Bower and his wife, Mary Joan; as well as several nieces and nephews; and a special friend, Tammy Warren.

A graveside service will be conducted at 9:00 AM on Thursday July 24, 2025 at Augusta Memorial Park in Waynesboro with Pastors Janet and Henry Elsea officiating.
