Harry Anderson Breeden, 88, widower of Pauline Catherine Grant Breeden, passed away on Sunday, April 27, 2025, at Augusta Health in Fishersville. 

He was born on November 20, 1936, in Rockbridge County to the late Samuel Lee and Essie Lee Hensley Breeden.

Harry was the owner of Marston and Michael where he worked for 68 years. He loved working and relished the conversations he had with his customers

Harry lived a life filled with love for the outdoors, particularly enjoying boating and fishing at Smith Mountain Lake, Lake Anna, and the Chesapeake Bay. Harry had a passion for mowing and was known for his remarkable ability to fix just about anything.

He cherished time spent with his grandson and greatly appreciated his daily cup of decaf coffee with two creams. 

Harry is survived by his son, Mark Dwayne Breeden, and his daughter-in-law, Pam, along with his beloved grandson, Logan Cameron Breeden and his wife, Ava.

In addition to his wife of 62 years and his parents, he is preceded in death by his daughter, Linda Jane Breeden; his brothers, Dan Harris, Herbert Reed, Amos Irvin, Lloyd Simon, Herman Hoover, Carl William, Robert Lee, and Earl Franklin Breeden; and his sisters, Ann Breeden Wade and Gladys Mae Breeden Wilfong.

A funeral service will be held at 11:00 AM on Friday, May 2, 2025, in the Henry Funeral Home Chapel. 

Interment will follow at Augusta Memorial Park in Waynesboro.
