Harry L. Nethken Jr.
Harry Leroy Nethken, Jr, 77, of Waynesboro, VA, passed away on February 23, 2023 at his residence.
He was born on November 12, 1945 in Staunton to the late Harry Leroy, Sr. and Mary Eleanor (Whitmore) Nethken.
Harry was an avid pilot and gun collector, proud member of the NRA, and a reserve officer for the Staunton Police Department for over thirty years.
He is survived by his daughter, Gigi Schwartz Benoit and her husband, Christian of Mississippi; his brother, Kenneth E. Nethken of Fishersville; his sister, Eleanor Anne (Nethken) Smith of Utah; and his grandchildren, Brandy Boettcher and James Boettcher III.
He leaves behind many friends throughout Staunton and the surrounding areas who will miss him dearly.
No services will be held.
