Hilda Epperly

HILDA B. EPPERLY STAUNTON, VA Hilda (Bittner) Epperly, 92, of 320 Old Greenville Road, died Saturday, November 15, 2014, at her residence. She was born September 29, 1922, in Czechoslovakia, a daughter of the late Eduard and Emma (Wilhelm) Bittner. Mrs. Epperly retired in 1986 from Smith Bakery with 22 years of service. She was a member of the Augusta Health Auxiliary. She was a member of Calvary Baptist Church where she was a member of the Challenger Sunday School Class. Family members include a son, Steven E. Epperly of Staunton; and a brother, Frank Bittner of Germany. A memorial service will be conducted at 1 p.m. on Saturday, November 22, 2014 in Calvary Baptist Church by Pastor Bobby Campbell. Henry Funeral Home is handling the arrangements.
