Howard K. Crosby

Howard Keith Crosby, 75, son of the late Lester Ward and Hannah Marie (Hanger) Crosby, passed away on Friday, September 16, 2022 at Augusta Health in Fishersville.

Keith was born on July 5, 1947. He was a woodworker by trade and served proudly as a medic in the United States Army during the Vietnam War.

He is survived by his daughter, Jamison Crosby, of Napa, California; his nieces, Cindy Wine and Glenda Truslow; his nephews, Ricky Crosby, Micheal Childress, and Jeff Childress; and his sister-in-law, Nancy (Smith) Crosby.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his siblings, Kenneth Ward, Joseph Malcom, Wayne Eugene, Nancy Marie Crosby, and Martha A. (Crosby) Childress.

Keith was adored by every dog that knew him and loved his dog, Eddie, to the end. His happiest moments were riding his motorcycle, walking in the woods, and taking trips in his camper van to places near and far.

A graveside service will be held on Friday, September 23, 2022 at 12:30 PM at Thornrose Cemetery in Staunton with the Reverend Russell Heinrich officiating. The family will receive friends an hour and a half prior to the service at Henry Funeral Home at 11:00 AM.
