Jacqueline Marie Duke
Jacqueline Marie (Fauver) Duke, 89, of Staunton, died Thursday, March 18, 2021, at the Shenandoah Hospice House, Fishersville.
She was born August 9, 1931, in Staunton, a daughter of the late Travis Sauder and Cornelia Wade Fauver.
She was a member of the Red Hat Society and DAR.
She was a simple lady who loved cooking and painting.
She attended the Staunton School of Cosmetology and VPI and was a cosmetologist for a number of years.
Family members include a son and daughter-in-law, James Marshall II and Ashley Duke of Staunton; a daughter, Jackie Leigh Duke of Swoope; and two grandchildren, Brandon Duke of Staunton and Clayton Duke of Stuarts Draft.
She was preceded in death by a son, Douglas Wade Richardson.
A graveside service will be conducted at 2 p.m. Monday, March 22, 2021, at Thornrose Cemetery by Pastor Ethan Allison.
The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service in the cemetery.
