Jeremy David Jordan, 87, passed away on Thursday, May 14, 2026, at his residence in Staunton.

He was born on October 5, 1938, in Detroit, Michigan to the late Ralph M. and Echoe Jordan.

Jeremy served his country honorably in the United States Navy as a pilot during the Vietnam War.

Following his military service, he pursued his passion for education, earning his master’s degree and going on to serve as a mathematics professor at Richard Bland College in Prince George County.

He was also an active member of Bridge Church in Fishersville.

He is survived by his wife, Jennifer Stanfield; his daughters, Jennifer Jordan and her husband, Creston and Kerra Jordan and his granddaughter, Meghann; his stepchildren, Shannon Jakeman and her husband, Stephen, Dominic DePasquale and his wife, Molly, and Thu Hang Duong and her husband, Andy; his step grandchildren, Kensley, Grayson, Vince, Gio, Alex, and Catherine and his sons, John and Matthew Jordan;

A graveside service will be held at 11:00 AM on Saturday, May 16, 2026, at Thornrose Cemetery in Staunton with Pastor Stacy Burkholder officiating.

Memorial contributions may be made to Bridge Church (1275 Old Goose Creek Road, Fishersville, VA 22939).
