John Adam Craig, 75, passed away on Tuesday, October 7, 2025, at King’s Daughters Community Health and Rehabilitation Center in Staunton, Virginia.
He was born on February 2, 1950, in Waynesboro to the late Thomas Jefferson Craig and Anne Maude Mitchell Craig.
John is survived by his brother, Gleason Craig and wife Jeanie; his sons, Gary Craig, Christopher Craig and wife Dana, Jason Craig and wife Emily; and his daughters, Melissa Pfeilsticker and husband Thomas, and Rachel Craig; his grandchildren: Josh Craig, Micheal Isaacson, Courtney Isaacson, Dylan Craig and his wife, Abby, Justin Craig and his wife, Olivia, Cody Craig and his wife, Savanna, Brittany Craig, Samantha Brown and her husband, Trevor, Trinity Breeden, Xavier Isaacson, Alechia Terrell, Makarah Terrell, Kaylee Morgans, and Conner Terrell; his great-grandchildren: Malachi Craig, Olivia Isaacson, Lilianna Isaacson, Bladen Carter, Shyla Greenwood, Lane Craig, Skyla Carter, Tanner Craig, Anna Lee Craig, Karma Craig, and Hallie Craig; and his great-great-grandson, Karion Craig.
In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his brothers, Stephen Craig and Thomas Craig; his sisters, Judith Burns and Betty Craig; and his granddaughter, LeAnna Craig.
A funeral service will be held at 1:00 PM on Wednesday, October 15, 2025, at Henry Funeral Home in Staunton, with Reverend Dr. Zifus James officiating. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service, beginning at 12:00 PM.
Interment will immediately follow at Augusta Memorial Park in Fishersville.
Pallbearers will be Josh Craig, Dylan Craig, Justin Craig, Cody Craig, Trevor Brown, and Xavier Isaacson.
The family would like to express their sincere gratitude to the staff of King’s Daughters Community Health and Rehabilitation Center for their compassionate care, and to the dedicated caregivers at Cardinal House for their support and care prior to his transition to King’s Daughters.
