VERONA – Joseph “Joe” Dowe Hall, 64, passed away Thursday, April 14, 2022 at UVA.
Mr. Hall was born on September 1, 1957 in Lexington to the late Woodrow J. Hall and Cecelia H. Hall.
He worked street maintenance and was a snowplow operator and truck driver for the City of Waynesboro. He enjoyed hunting, spending time with his grandkids, family and friends.
Mr. Hall is survived by a son, Rusty James Hall; a daughter, Amanda S. Hall; a sister, Gloria H. Miller; and grandchildren, Christian Michael Hall, Teagan Elizabeth Hall, Kylee Shay Davis and Laikynn J. Robinson.
In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by a sister, Catherine H. Radford.
The family will receive friends from 6 until 8 pm, Wednesday, April 20, 2022 at Henry Funeral Home.
A funeral service will be conducted at 2 pm on Friday, April 22, 2022 at Laurel Hill Baptist Church by Rev. Bill Davis. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
Active pallbearers will be John Lang, Dwayne Miller, Jonathan Miller, Mike Wilberger, Jesse Morris, Nick Shafer, Noah Cardamone and Daniel Huchinson.
