Kenneth S. Bartley

Kenneth Scott Bartley, 66, passed away on Tuesday, June 16, 2026.

He was born on May 6, 1960, in Staunton, to the late William Gary and Lucille Gay Gum Bartley.

An electrician by trade, he worked for over forty years at Sheffer’s Electrical Service in Churchville.

Scott was a man known for his soft-spoken nature and kindheartedness. He found joy in the simple pleasures of life including fishing - which provided him with time for peace and reflection. He also had a passion for working and tinkering, especially with anything electrical.

Family was at the center of his life, and he cherished every moment spent with his wife, children, and grandchildren.

He is survived by his wife, Patricia Lynn Dove Bartley; his siblings, Darryl Bruce Bartley and his wife, Carolyn and Carol Ann Bartley Craig; his sons, Robby Lee and Christopher Michael Robinett; and his grandchildren, Brianna, Alex, Ethan, Ryan, and Riverleigh Robinett. He also shared a special companionship with his faithful canine friend, Porky, who remained by his side for eighteen years.

Scott's life was marked by quiet dedication, heartfelt kindness, and the small joys that knit a family together.
