Linda M. Jones
Linda McManama Jones, 76, passed away Sunday, September 4, 2022 at home with family by her side.
She was born on May 4, 1946 in Rockbridge County to the late Homer and Eva (Fitzgerald) McManama.
She graduated from Rockbridge High School and MCV as a Physical Therapist. She then retired from Augusta Medical Center in Outpatient Therapy.
She was a member of First Baptist Church where she served as a Sunday School Teacher, choir member, and children’s choir helper.
In addition to her husband, Dale of 51 years, she is survived by her two daughters, Jennifer Campbell (Doug) and Karen Dedrick (VJ); two grandchildren, Jacob and Rebekah Dedrick, one brother, Wayne McManama, a sister in law, June Jones Fitzgerald (Gary), and a special friend, Donna Hamric.
A Memorial Service will be conducted at First Baptist Church, with visitation following, on Thursday, September 8, 2022 at 1:00 p.m. by the Rev. Dr. Steve Traylor and Danny Pritchett. Burial will be private.
Memorial donations may be made to First Baptist Church, SACs of Love, 406 West Frederick St. Staunton , Va 24401.
