Lucille Jordan Didawick, 90, wife of Guy F. Didawick, of Staunton, died Sunday, November 3, 2019 at the Shenandoah House of Augusta Health.
She was born May 21, 1929 in Rockingham County, a daughter of the late Oliver William and Iva Rebecca (Evers) Jordan.
Lucille was a member of Covenant Presbyterian Church. While living in Texas she was director of the Bell Choir. Lucille was an avid baker, bird lover, and conservationist.
In addition to her husband, family members include a daughter, Deborah Didawick Hively, and husband Steve; three sons, David W. Didawick and wife, Cindy, Daniel J. Didawick, and Damon T. Didawick and husband, Dr. Andrew Stoner; two brothers, John Jordan and Bill Jordan; two sisters, Helen Jordan and June Jordan; three grandchildren, Dustin W. Didawick and wife, Jamie, Edwin Kent Hively and wife, Erin, and Kathryn Dora Lane and husband, Jeffrey; and six great- grandchildren, Sydney Didawick, Ella Brown, Silas Brown, Uma Hively, Becca Lane, and Emma Lane.
A memorial service will be conducted at 2 p.m. Thursday, November 7, 2019 at Covenant Presbyterian Church by the Rev. John Peterson.
