Lynn Evelyn F. Shuey

Lynn Evelyn Foltz Shuey, 73, daughter of the late Lynn Keith Foltz and Evelyn Jane O’Brien Foltz Edie, passed away on Friday, June 9, 2023 at Augusta Health in Fishersville.

Lynn was born on September 28, 1949 in Augusta County.

She loved bingo and Elvis Presley.

She is survived by her sons, John Thomas Joyce and his fiancée, Lynn Winegard, and Ron Rogers; her grandsons, Christian and Thomas Joyce; her granddaughters, Akiaya Joyce and Mary Winegard; and two great-granddaughters, Embrlyn Clark and Jaydah Winegard.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brothers, John Lee and L. Franklin Foltz.

A Celebration of Life service will be held on Wednesday, June 14, 2023 at 3:00 PM in Staunton’s Gypsy Hill Park near the bandstand with the Reverend Matthew Colvin officiating. A meal will follow at that location and guests are encouraged to bring a covered dish to share.

The family would like to especially thank Lynn’s cousin, John Humphries, for all his loving care.
