ELAINE PUMPHREYSTAUNTON, VA...Margaret Elaine Pumphrey passed away December 22, 2015 in Richmond, Virginia. Miss Pumphrey was born February 18, 1946 in Augusta County, a daughter of the late John, Sr., and Eva Pumphrey. Surviving are her sisters, Loretta Kennan of Alexandria, Virginia, Mary Brown of Richmond, Virginia, and Carolyn Miller of Staunton, Virginia; five nephews and two nieces. Miss Pumphrey was preceded in death by a brother, John Pumphrey, Jr. A graveside service will be conducted on December 30, 2015, at 10:30 a.m. at Salem Lutheran Church by the Rev.
