FISHERSVILLE - Marilyn Ada Johnson, 91, passed away on Monday, March 21, 2022 at Augusta Nursing and Rehab Center in Fishersville.
Ms. Johnson was born on May 16, 1930 in Chicago, IL to the late Elmer Johnson and Violet (Johnson) Anderson.
She was formerly employed by several members of the U.S House of Representatives and later as a legal secretary in private industry in Washington DC.
She is survived by her brother, William Johnson (Carlene) of Mahomet, IL and nieces and nephews, along with her children, Lynn Stockdale (Kevin) of Staunton, Jane Phillips (Sidney) of Waynesboro, and Brian Forsman (Marla) of Wakefield, VA. Her grandchildren: Alison, Timothy, Connor, Ramona, Scarlett and Jane. Her great grandchildren Annika, Violet, Mary, Ellena, Audrey, Aiden, Phillip, Willow, Mary and Johnny.
In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her brother, Donald Johnson, and her sister, Muriel Anderson.
