Mark Stephen Roberson

MARK S. ROBERSON STAUNTON, VA Mark Stephen Roberson, 57, of 909 Donaghe Street, died Monday, August 27, 2012, in Shenandoah House, Fishersville. He was born April 7, 1955, in Henderson, NC, a son of Cassie (Ayscue) Roberson of Staunton and the late Charles C. Roberson. Mr. Roberson was a self-employed and enjoyed gardening. He grew up in Staunton and graduated from Robert E. Lee High School, where he played football. He was member of First Baptist Church and attended James Madison College. In addition to his mother, family members include a son, Trevor Carlton Roberson of Luray; a daughter, Megan Nichole Roberson of Luray; and two brothers and sisters-in-law, Dean and Debbie Roberson of Charlotte, NC and Gary and Cindy Roberson of Staunton. A funeral service will be conducted at 2 p.m. Thursday, August 30, 2012, in the Henry Funeral Home Chapel by the Rev. Dr. Steve Traylor. Burial will follow in Oak Lawn Mausoleum and Memory Gardens. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service in the funeral home. Memorials may be made to Hospice of the Shenandoah, P.O. Box 215, Fishersville, VA 22939.
