Martha N. Webb
Martha Nell (Ricketson) Webb, 86, widow of Jimmie Wendell Webb, Sr., went to be with her Heavenly Father, Wednesday, September 21, 2022 at Shenandoah Nursing and Rehab.
She was born on July 3, 1936 in West Green, GA, the daughter of the late George Dewey Ricketson, Sr. and Effie Leigh (Burkett) Ricketson. She was the last surviving member of her immediate family of ten.
Mrs. Webb is survived by a daughter, Babs Mowry of Staunton; a "special buddy", her grandson, Daniel Mowry and his wife Sarah; and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
In addition to her husband and parents, she is preceded in death by a son, Jimmy Webb, Jr. and a son-in-law, Bruce Mowry.
A memorial service will be conducted at 11:00 AM, Friday, September 30, 2022 at Edward Avenue Baptist Church by Pastor Gary May.
The family will receive friends immediately following the service.
Memorials may be made to Edward Avenue Baptist Church, 222 Edward Ave, Waynesboro, VA, 22980 or to Shenandoah Nursing and Rehab, 339 Westminister Dr, Fishersville, VA, 22939.
The family would like to extend a special thanks to all the nurses and doctors at Augusta Health for their care, and all the nurses and staff at Shenandoah Nursing and Rehab.
