Mary Jane Quick Thomas

MARY Q. THOMAS  CLIFTON, ME… Mary Jane Quick Thomas, 79, of Clifton, Maine, Staunton & Roseland, Virginia went peacefully into the arms of her Lord & Savior on July 8, 2016.  Born Feb. 20, 1937, she loved Jesus with all her heart & shared her love of the Lord with many. She taught Bible study & delighted in fellowship.  She loved & cherished her family & many friends. She loved to smile & share laughter, often using her sense of humor to bring happiness to others.  Mary Jane was predeceased by Nathaniel H. “Pop” Quick & Nettie Quick, & son-in-law, Robert Shifflett.  She is survived by her children, Tammy T. Shifflett of Clifton, ME, Robin T. & Jeff Duncan of Radford, VA, & David & Patty Thomas, of Williamsburg, VA, her grandchildren, Janet & Adam Tennant of Denver, CO, Zach Duncan of Radford, VA, & Shelby Hynes of Williamsburg, VA.  The family expresses their gratitude for the staff at Brewer Rebab for the loving care she received. A graveside service will be held at Oaklawn Memory Gardens in Staunton, VA on Friday July 15 at 1:00 pm conducted by Pastor Rob Mansfield Jr. with fellowship immediately following. Henry Funeral Home is handling the arrangements.
