Mattie W. Lane

Mattie Warden Lane, 81, widow of Maurice Eugene Lane, of Verona, died Monday, July 5, 2021 at her residence.

She was born April 25, 1940 in Thorpe, West Virginia, a daughter of the late Roby and Wilma (Cacy) Warden.

Prior to retirement she was employed as a seamstress by Shenandoah Uniform.

Family members include two daughters and a son-in-law, Pam Robertson and Cheryl and Brad Jenkins; two grandchildren, Miranda Skievaski and husband, Ben and Jesse Wolfe and wife, Jessica; and her granddogs, Peanut, Zeus, and Molly.

In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by three brothers and five sisters.

She was the last surviving member of her immediate family.

A graveside service will be conducted at 10 a.m., Friday, July 9, 2021 at Oak Lawn Mausoleum and Memory Gardens.
