Mertie Lue Frances (James) Landram, 89, wife of the late Vance Daniel Landram, passed away on January 14, 2022, at Granville Medical Center.
Mrs. Landram was born on August 30, 1932, to the late John W. and Alice Myrtle (Shipp) James.
Prior to retirement, Mrs. Landram was employed by Gensco with 21 years of service.
Mrs. Landram was a member of the Middle River Church of the Brethren. She also enjoyed gardening, cooking, fishing, hunting, and camping. She always smiled and loved her entire family from her grandchildren to her great-great-grandchildren, always giving them a bag of candy.
She is survived by two sons, Vance Daniel Landram, Jr. ( Joyce) of Verona and David Landram (Brenda) of Washington State; a daughter, Darlene Henkel
(Donnie) of Clarksville; Grandchildren, Tracy Painter (Stephanie), Stephanie Thompson (Matt), Tonia Whetzel ( Dennis), Lena Wuerzberger (Randy), Genny Rogers ( Dustin), and Lisa Crouch (Tony); great-grandchildren, Brianna and Jerry Painter, Tyler, Cheyenne, and Austin Thompson, Eric and Jacob Massey, Dominic Brown, Dustin, Kaitlyn, and Shyann Wuerzberger; great-great-grandchildren, Cooper Thompson, Annalyn and Darian Rogers; and numerous nieces and nephews.
In addition to her husband of 70 years, she is preceded in death by a sister, Mary Allison.
A graveside service will be conducted on January 20, 2022, at 2 P.M. at Oaklawn Mausoleum and Memorial Gardens by Pastor Kathleen Michaels.
