Michael D. Simmons

Michael David Simmons, 62, passed away on Wednesday, March 13, 2024, at the UVA Medical Center in Charlottesville.

He was born on April 21, 1961, in Elkton, MD to the late Jacob Marion and Ann Louise Wampler Simmons.

He previously worked for Ned Wood Construction and was a member of the Loyal Order of Moose, Staunton Lodge # 1635 and Elliott's Knob Fraternal Order of Eagles Aerie 680.

He is survived by his sister, Marian “Frankie” Franklin Simmons.

A private graveside will be held on Tuesday, March 19, 2024, at Thornrose Cemetery in Staunton.
