Nancy Kathryn Burnett, 72, of Waverly Drive, died Friday, April 30, 2021 at her residence.
She was born on December 9, 1948 in Montgomery County, a daughter of the late Emory T. and Ethel (Cox) Burnett.
Ms. Burnett was a graduate of Brandt’s School of Business. Prior to her retirement in 2001, she was employed by George Mason University as an Administrative Assistant.
She is survived by her life partner, Bud Parson; a brother and sister-in-law, William and Deborah Burnett; a niece, Kathryn Hegedus and her husband, Jim; a nephew, Scott Burnett; several cousins; family members; and friends.
A graveside service will be conducted at 11 a.m. Tuesday, May 4, 2021 in Augusta Memorial Park by Rev. Richard Peters.
