Nancy Lee Taylor

Nancy Lee Taylor, 85, formerly of Staunton, passed away on March 19, 2022 at her residence in Oxon Hill, Maryland.

Nancy was born on February 12, 1937 to the late George W. and Edith Harden Taylor, Jr.

She loved traveling and visiting casinos. She was adored by her co-workers and loved by many.
She is survived by a sister, Edith M. Taylor of Washington, D.C.; a brother, Joseph B. Taylor and his wife, Diane Taylor of Stuarts Draft, Virginia; a special godson, a number of nieces and nephews; sisters in-law, Eugenia Taylor of Staunton and Louis Taylor of Washington, D.C.; and her four-legged friend, Chocolate.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brothers, George W., James E, and Alonzo Conway Taylor.

A funeral service will be conducted on Saturday, April 2, 2022 at 1:00PM at the Henry Funeral Home Chapel with the Reverend Reginald A. Early officiating. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service. Burial will follow at Thornrose Cemetery. The repass will follow after the burial at Community Methodist Church (249 Cedar Green Road, Staunton, Virginia, 24401).
