Paul L. Hassett, Jr.

Paul LaVelle Hassett, Jr., 72, passed away on Monday, June 22, 2026 at his residence.

Paul was born in Staunton on October 4, 1953, to the late Paul LaVelle Hassett, Sr. and Joyce Layne Tyler Hassett.

Survivors include his wife, Brenda Rankin Hassett; his sons, Paul "Trae" LaVelle Hassett III and Matthew Hassett; his brother, Garry Hassett; his sister, Kimberley Hassett Poole; his grandchildren, Taylor, Chance, Maddison, and Kaden; and two great-granddaughters.

In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his son, Cody Rankin Hassett.

In accordance with the family's wishes, no services will be held.
