Robert "Bob" E. Mauzy

Robert “Bob” Edward Mauzy passed away Tuesday, September 14, 2021 in Staunton with his family by his side.

Bob was born on April 24, 1942, a son of the late William Whitfield Mauzy and Lillie Grace Harper of Hightown, Va.

Bob retired from Stanley Furniture and Augusta Lumber. He loved to hunt, fish, & camp. He was dearly loved and will be greatly missed.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two brothers, George & Jack Mauzy, and a sister, Mary Lou Grant.

Surviving is his wife, Sue Ann of 54 years; a son, James Edward Mauzy & companion Becky Wood; two grandsons, Brandon Edward & Devin Ray Mauzy; two brothers, Charles (Peggy) & John Mauzy; a sister, Betty Sue Caricofe; two sisters-in-law, Audrey Mauzy and June Thompson; several nieces, nephews, & cousins; and his granddog, Sophie.

The family will receive friends on Saturday, September 18, 2021 from 4:00 P.M. – 6:00 P.M. at Henry Funeral Home.

A funeral service will be conducted on Monday, September 20, 2021 at 11 A.M. at the Henry Funeral Home Chapel by Pastor Lester Kennedy. Burial will follow at Oaklawn Mausoleum & Memory Gardens.

Pallbearers are Michael Lambert, Pete Lovegrove, Tom Rose, Jason Whitaker, Chris Tacy, and Harry C. Marshall.
