Robert “Bob” Anthony Smith, 82, widower of Dorothy C. Smith, died Thursday, August 26, 2021 at Augusta Health.
Mr. Smith was born on July 17, 1939 in Lexington to the late Ruby Mae (Smith) Goodbar.
He retired as a truck driver for Shenandoah Trucking.
He is survived by two daughters, Teresa Arehart and Sheryl Coyner; a brother, Marvin Wayne Smith, Sr. (Linda); an uncle, Porter “Sonny” Smith (Mary); two grandsons, Waylon Arehart and Sterling Arehart (Courtney); and a great grandson, Derrian Arehart.
In addition to his mother, he was preceded in death by a son, Robert “Tommy” Smith.
A graveside service will be conducted at Millboro Christian Church at a later date.
