Rosemary Martinez

It is with profound sadness and deep love that we announce the passing of Rosemary Martinez, 43, on Sunday, May 24th, 2026, at her residence in Staunton Virginia.

She was born on July 17, 1982, in Arecibo, Puerto Rico.

Rosemary will be remembered for her vibrant spirit, passionate heart, and the love she shared and extended to those around her. She had a special passion for dressing up and took pride in making herself look and feel her best. She was a woman of strength, curiosity, warmth, and resilience. If she wasn’t listening to music or singing a song, she could be found watching one of her favorite crime or drama shows - Law and Order being one of her favorites.

Rosemary enjoyed calling friends and family on a regular basis and consistently tried to foster communication with everyone she crossed paths with. Although her life came with challenges, she was more determined than anyone to overcome her struggles and live life to the fullest.

Rosemary Cherished her family and she shared a deep and meaningful relationship with all her children. Though her journey in life was one with obstacles, her love for her children was always present in its own way.

She is survived by her children, Titania Guerrero, Melba A. Martinez DeJesus, Agereon D. Price, Jr., and Elyjah N. DeJesus; her partner and soulmate, Agereon D. Price, Sr. Together they built a connection founded on love, memories, and unwavering determination. She is also survived by her father, Luis Enrique DeJesus Cintron; her sister, Ann Marie DeJesus Rivera; her granddaughter, Luisa Way; and numerous nieces and nephews.

She is preceded in death by her mother, Kelly Ann Wright; and her brother, Luis Enrique DeJesus.

A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, June 6, 2026, to remember and honor the unique and unforgettable life of Rosemary. The family will notify friends and loved ones of the location and service details once finalized.
