Thelma Ruth Johnson Burnett, 87, wife of Henry Keith Burnett, passed away on Saturday, April 15, 2023 at her residence in Staunton.
Ruth was born on December 18, 1935 in Warwickshire, England to the late Frank and Hilda (Lovegrove) Johnson.
Ruth lived in Birmingham, England during World War II. She met her future husband at the age of six in Ashby-de-la-Zouch, England. They enjoyed sailing, traveling, and lived in many different countries. Ruth loved her little horse farm and taking care of the home while Keith traveled for his employer. She loved nature, writing, and was an artist. Ruth enjoyed her life and lived it fully.
She is survived by her loving husband, Keith Burnett, whom she married in 1955.
As were her wishes, there will be no services.
