Samuel Max Mcghee

Samuel Max McGhee, 62, of Staunton, died March 31, 2021, at Augusta Health in Fishersville.

Mr. McGhee was born September 28, 1958, in Baltimore, Maryland, a son of the late Carmelita McGhee. Sam is survived by his wife, Jessica Swisher McGhee; three daughters, Catie Morgan and husband, Rex, Jessica McGhee, and Abigail McGhee; two sisters, Michelle Pannell and Laura Bockner; two brothers, Alan Faust and Billy Staton; and a granddaughter, Evelyn Morgan.

Mr. McGhee was a veteran of the U.S. Navy.

Prior to retirement, he was employed by Fisher Auto Parts.

A memorial service will be held Monday, April 5, 2021 at 11 a.m. at Christ United Methodist Church officiated by Pastor Jesse Moffitt.

According to COVID-19 guidelines, mask wearing and social distancing will be observed at the service.
