Sandra K. Deal

Sandra Kay Livick Deal, 73, passed away on Wednesday, July 8, 2026, at King’s Daughters Community Health and Rehabilitation Center in Staunton.

Sandra was born on December 15, 1952 in Staunton, a daughter of the late James Edwin, Sr. and Ola Mae Bales Livick.

She retired from Walmart where she worked as a cashier in the pharmacy.

Her hobbies included bowling, working in her flower beds, and being a great mom, grandma, great-grandma, sister, and aunt.

She is survived by her sons, Daniel Deal and his wife, Leigh Anne, and David Deal and his wife, Kathi; her grandchildren, Madison Waters, Dakota Cash-Deal, Kaylee Sorrels, and Braden Deal; her great-grandchildren, Braxton and Brayden Waters; her brother, James Livick and his wife, Eileen; her sister, Tina French; and many nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her stepfather, Fred Brown.

A memorial service will be conducted at 2:00 PM on Saturday, July 18, 2026, at Henry Funeral Home in Staunton.
