Shelby "Vonnie" Yvonne Morris Agnor, 89, passed away on Saturday, January 17, 2026, at Shenandoah Nursing and Rehabilitation in Fishersville.

She was born on August 28, 1936, in Waynesboro, to the late Melvin Tabler and Marie Blanch Shifflett Morris.

Vonnie was a devoted and hardworking woman who retired after many years in the deli at Kroger, where she was known for her friendly smile and kind spirit.

Her faith was the foundation of her life. For many years, she was an active member of Olivet Presbyterian Church in Staunton, where she faithfully served as a member of the church choir. Singing was one of her greatest passions, and she loved lifting her voice in praise. She cherished her Bible and lived out her faith through love, kindness, and service to others.

Family meant everything to her. She treasured time spent with those she loved and took great pleasure in bringing everyone together, often around the table. She was a wonderful cook who found joy in preparing meals for others.

She was known for her remarkable sense of humor and her infectious laughter. Full of warmth and love, she had a way of making people feel welcome and valued. She will always be remembered as a truly wonderful person whose life was a blessing to many.

She is survived by her son, Frederick Delano Agnor, Jr.; and her daughter, Trudy Diane Agnor Grogg and her husband, Garry; her grandchildren, Trinity Agnor (Bryce Sawyer) and Jeremy Rasnake (Ashley) and her great-grandchildren, Wyatt Rasnake and Emmersyn Rasnake.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Frederick Delano Agnor, Sr.; her daughter, Pamela Marie Agnor Myers; and her sister, Loretta Marie Morris Wright.

The family will receive friends from 6:00 to 8:00 PM on Monday, January 26, 2026, at Henry Funeral Home in Staunton. Prior to the visitation, at 6:00 PM family and friends are invited to gather for a special time of sharing memories and remembrances, celebrating her life and the many ways she touched those around her.

Interment will be private.
