Simon P. Fridley

Simon Prescott Fridley, 43, passed away on Friday, December 8, 2023, at his residence in Staunton.

He was born in Staunton on May 29, 1980, a son to the late John Franklin and Geneva Wilcher Fridley. 

Simon is survived by his brother, Jason F. Fridley and significant other, Valerie Shifflett; his grandfather, Melvin Wilcher of Gloucester; his uncles and aunts, Bruce and Sherry Doyle, Pat and Anita Wilcher, and Charles "JP" and Karen Fridley; his nieces, Taylor, Chelsea, Sarah, and Braelynn Rayne; and his very special dog, Alita. 

Simon Prescott Fridley lived life to the fullest. His love for onshore and trout fishing, hunting, and outdoor adventures allowed him to appreciate the beauty that surrounds us all. 

A family gathering will be announced at a later date.
