Sophia Rivers

Sophia (Sue) Rivers, 96, formerly of Lake Butler, Fl, passed away in Staunton, VA on December 10, 2018.   Born in Middletown, CT, she was the daughter of the late Louis and Stephanie Warenda.   She was a member of the First Christian Church in Lake Butler, Florida.  Sue was preceded in death by her husband of 65 years, Wilson, and is survived by her daughters Connie (Rick) Anderson and Diane (Fred) Stribling; sons Will (Joy) Rivers, Scott (Kathy) Rivers; six grandchildren;  three great-grandchildren; and one sister, Emily Wysocki, of Middletown, CT.   A private memorial service will be held by the family.  In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to the First Christian Church of Lake Butler, FL.
