Susan Kathleen Kubany, 74, widow of Robert H. Heinmiller, passed away on November 22, 2021 at her home.
Susan was born in Harrison, PA on April 7, 1947 to Albert J. Kubany and Lila Theresa Linder.
She is survived by her brother, David Kubany of Ann Arbor, Michigan.
Susan graduated with a Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of New Hamphsire. She moved to Boston, MA and worked as a publicist in the art world. A special project was the Boston Symphony.
On December 23, 1978 she married Robert Heinmiller. Mr. Heinmiller was a graduate of Massachusetts Institute of Technology and worked as an oceanographer conducting research for the military. They remained in Boston for several years.
The couple moved to Staunton in the early 1990’s and started an early internet company known as Omnet, Inc. Both Bob and Susan were active in the community.
There will be no services.
