Teresa H. Anderson

Teresa Lynn Heitzenrater Anderson, 71, passed away on Tuesday, April 30, 2024, at her residence in Staunton.

She was born on August 8, 1952, in Silver Spring, Maryland to the late Theodore Richard Heitzenrater and Anne Shirley Brown DeBusk.

In her free time, Teresa could be found working on cross stitching. She also found joy in cooking meals for her family and friends. Spending time with her family was her most treasured memory.

She is survived by her two sons, Matthew Peyton Anderson and his wife, Maya Kartseva, and Jeremy Lewis Anderson; her brother, Richard Keith Heitzenrater; her sister, Kathleen Marie Heitzenrater Brothers; her granddaughters, Vera Anderson and Mara Anderson; and a grandson, Thomas Anderson.

She is preceded in death by her parents and a sister, Karen Leslie Heitzenrater Hempstead.

Services will be announced at a later date.
