Thomas E. Cobb

Thomas Edward Cobb, 84, passed away on January 4, 2022 at Augusta Nursing and Rehab.

Mr. Cobb was born on April 15, 1937 to the late Harry and Martha (Hiner) Cobb.

Tommy worked as a heavy equipment operator for Echols and later Campbell Brothers and for the last 16 years worked at Ingleside. He loved working at Ingleside with Eric and all the guys. Over the years he got to see a lot of the country driving cars for Charlie Obaugh.

He was a Yankees baseball fan and enjoyed shooting pool and enjoyed other sporting events. At different times in his life he belonged to all of the local lodges.

He is survived by his son, T. Eric Cobb; his brother, Harry Cobb; and his nephew, Kyter Roby and wife Gaytha.

In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his former wife and friend, Jean M. Cobb.

The family will receive friends on Saturday, January 8, 2022 from 3-5 P.M. at Henry Funeral Home.

As were his wishes, burial will be private.
