Tony W. Harvey

Tony William Harvey, 60, passed away on Sunday, September 19, 2021 at Augusta Health due to complications of Covid.

He was born on September 23, 1960 to the late James William, Jr. and Carole (Jones) Harvey.

Tony worked at White’s Truck Stop for a number of years. He was the kind of person that would do anything for you and was a loyal friend. People knew him as “Scooby-Doo”. He thought of his nieces and nephews as his children and loved them dearly.

He is survived by his step-mother, Mary J. Harvey of Raphine; his siblings, Debbie (Dennis) Cauley of Swoope, Brenda (Kevin) Koval, Ronnie (Lori) Harvey, Jamie Harvey, Lisa (Julian) Lisi, and Tommy Mynes, all of Raphine; a brother-in-law, Jerry Schweitzer of Maine; a number of nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews; and his lifetime partner, Ree Ann Betts. Tony had too many friends to name.

In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his sister, Beverly June Schweitzer.

The family will hold a memorial service at a later date.
