Vicki Lee Crum, 64, died peacefully on February 26, 2022 at her home in Silver Spring, MD.
Vicki left behind her sisters Debra Nielsen and Sandy Crum and five nieces and nephews, Philip Grewe (Taylor), Katherine Manofsky (Jack), Daniel Grewe, Solvej Nielsen and Michael Grewe.
She was preceded in death by both her parents Alvin L. Crum and Catherine (Sprouse) Crum.
Vick had a generous heart when it came to helping others. She volunteered her time rebuilding houses in Appalachia; cleared downed tree limbs and snow covered driveways for her neighbors; taught English to a new American Citizen; and helped us care for our mother for three years before her passing.
She had a thriving framing business after leaving managerial positions at Manpower and Woodward and Lothrop. Vicki went on to become an enthusiastic antique collector/dealer. She owned beautiful and long forgotten keepsakes.
At her passing, Vicki was working towards a Healthcare Information Management bachelor’s degree at the University of Maryland.
We will miss your spontaneity, quirky habits and our sisterly debates. We have our memories as a family and will never forget you in our hearts.
