On April 5, after a hard-fought battle with cancer, a fight in which she never gave up, with her loving family by her side, Vickie Robinson Corbin ran into the arms of Jesus.
Vickie came into this world on August 6, 1964 at King’s Daughters’ Hospital in Staunton, Virginia, the daughter of the late Norman Atley Robinson and Maxine Loretta Robinson. Vickie was one of 3 children, her brother, the late Doug Robinson and a sister Cindy Fultz and her husband Mike Fultz.
On June 27, 2020 Vickie married the love of her life, (her Bear) Dusty Corbin. Together they enjoyed many adventures especially riding side by sides and camping. They made a beautiful life together and made more memories in 2.5 years of marriage than most people will ever make in a lifetime. Her best friend and mother-in-law, Kathi Jolly, who devoted all her time since Vickie’s diagnosis to making her world a little sweeter and caring for her until the end.
Surviving to cherish her legacy is her daughter, Jenny Gregory (her Love Bug) and boyfriend, Cody McLain. Her world revolved around her two grandbabies who called her “Me”, Aubrie Shipe (her Dollbaby) and Tabor Shipe (her Sour-patch kid). Vickie spent endless hours devoted to her babies, filling their lives with endless love and support. She had a special niece, Mandy Knapp and husband, Jeramie Knapp and children Nathan, Curtis, and Karleigh. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews and special uncle Richard Dickerson.
Vickie made her career as a paralegal for Miller Levin Law, where she formed a lifelong friendship with employer, Whitney Levin.
In addition to her parents and brother, Vickie was preceded in death by her nephew, Jessee Robinson and special aunt, Joyce Dickerson.
