Walter F. Terry
RAPHINE - Walter Franklin Terry, 76, husband of Claudia “Jo” (Burns) Terry, passed away on July 14, 2022 at Augusta Health.
Mr. Terry was born on October 29, 1945 in Hot Springs to the late Milton Arnold and Nora Bell Collins Terry.
Walter was an owner-operator over road truck driver. He had a special gift for guitar music and sang and played at his church, Faith Worship Center in Stuarts Draft. He loved his dogs and his special chihuahua, “Little Bit”.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by his son, Michael Terry of Hamstead, MD; his stepson, Troy Meyerhoeffer (Linda); his step-grandchildren, Grace Ann and Liam Tyler Meyerhoeffer; and a number of cousins.
In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his brother, Wilson Terry.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, August 6, 2022 at 2:00 P.M. at Faith Worship Center by Pastor Dennis Bradley, Sr. The service will be live streamed on the Henry Funeral Home Facebook page at https://www.facebook.com/HenryFuneral .
